I'm hillwalking in Aberdeenshire and beginning to feel muscles I had forgotten I had. It's worth it for renewing my love of the Cairngorms and the Cairn o'Mount road. Later I'll be visit Dunnottar Castle which is breathtaking and then I'm going to spend some time walking in Moidart. For scenery, which is really what I'm visiting for this time rather than research, Moidart has always been my favorite part of Scotland. For city visiting, nothing in the world surpasses Edinburgh as long as you kind of ignore the tram fiasco.
