Few places in the world have seen more battles and violence that the Scottish moors, I'm sorry to say.
All of my novels are very violent–I wonder if that's related.

It's always kind of special to read and feel like your part of a writers book before it even comes out. With websites and blog sites, we as fans can actually feel like we are struggling with you to get the book out. The cover art looks great, and I really liked the first chapter you posted.
