Hi Jeanne, congrats again on getting the book out. I enjoy reading of your approach to writing, revision – and critiques.

I also feel I owe you for pointing me in the direction of Dean Wesley Smith's blog. I have found much useful there.

Don't include my name in your drawing. I'll be buying the book – the laborer deserves her wages.

Dean gives fantastic advice. I've learned so much from him.

Needless to say, I *won't* twist your arm not to buy my novel. 😉

I'm glad to give a copy away though since I do have one.

Jeanne, Ha, I never, ever pictured you writing a book with such a scary cover. I see you tromping across the Scottish moors. Congratulations, again on doing what most of us just dream of.

Few places in the world have seen more battles and violence that the Scottish moors, I'm sorry to say.

All of my novels are very violent–I wonder if that's related.

It's always kind of special to read and feel like your part of a writers book before it even comes out. With websites and blog sites, we as fans can actually feel like we are struggling with you to get the book out. The cover art looks great, and I really liked the first chapter you posted. Looking forwarding to getting my hands on this one. Thanks again, and enjoy the ride, you deserve it!

Jeanne, just wanted to congratulate you on publication of your first novel. I'm an on-again-off-again barfly, and your success is something to both appreciate and strive for. Congrats.
